    I am on media composer 3.0.5
    I have looked thru the book and avid’s site but have not found answers to the following:

    How do I

    setup a visual timecode window for an entire sequence

    How do I slo mo a picture

    There is an effect in the effects pallet called ‘timecode’. I’m not sure where it is (I’m not in front of an Avid right now). It’s not realtime, but there was a real time TC effect floating around the web. Try searching for it…

    Load the clip you want to slo-mo into your source monitor. Find a quick menu (I call it a hamburger menu ’cause that’s what it looks like… Usually, it’s between the source / record monitor) and pull it down. You can tear the menu away and place it on your work space somewhere if you’d like. In the menu, there is an icon that looks like an italicized media clip. Click on that, and you’ll get a dialog box. I like the ‘interpolate both fields’ selection, but play around and see what you like best.
