  AMD AND XPRESS

  can i run xpress with an AMD processor?

  Here are the current approved Avid XPress specs:

  Your milage may vary with AMD. I know people use it on their system, but if you run into problems, Avid Tech support can’t help – you are on your own.

  In the long run, it’s cheaper to buy a qualified system from a reseller.

  Yes!

  I know because I have been running mine on an AMD for years.
