  Exporting 16:9 project to DVD

  Hi all. I’ve been having trying to export my 16:9 project to a DVD, is there a preferred way to do it?

  Here’s the tech specs:
  Windows XP
  Avid Xpress DV
  Sonic MyDVD

  I exported a quicktime reference at 16:9.

  Are you sure your project will be shown ONLY on 16:9 displays? If not, you may think about having two shows on your disk – one native 16:9 and the other letterboxed out of the Avid (throw a 16:9 reformat effect on the topmost layer).

  Just make sure your encoding software is capable of handling 16:9AR.

  I just upgraded to Ulead DVD Workshop from Sonic MyDVD, which solved the problem right away.
