EPS File Mask Import
I’ve got an EPS file that I can open up in Illustrator and has masks that make up individual shapes that are supposed to represent letters (for instance, a cog wheel is the “o”). I’m trying to animate certain parts of the “letters” in AE so I need the masks imported in. I’ve tried simply copying them from Illustrator and pasting them onto a solid in AE, but the resulting mask is both extremely small and apparently raster: when I zoom in, it’s blurry and pixelated. The mask shape is smooth, but the fill seems to be off for some reason. Is there anything I’m doing wrong in this instance?
Here’s an example of what an imported mask looks like (notice how I’m zoomed in 1600% to be able to even see it): https://imgur.com/798cC.png
Here’s the same mask in Illustrator and how it should be: https://imgur.com/Frgi8.png
