  • Adjusting the Postion of Object in 3D Space

Posted by Corey Holtgard on April 17, 2012 at 8:59 pm

I am trying to position a 3D logo made with Pro Animator in a AE sequence that is linked to the comp camera, I have it all linked up to the comp camera, but now the logo is WAY to close. If I move the position for my camera to make the logo smaller it throws the tracking off (I have tracked the camera to the footage using The Foundry CameraTracker)

So I am wandering how to move the position of the logo in 3D space without messing with the camera position….. Am I looking at this the wrong way or just missing a simple control feature?

    Thanks

    Hi Corey,

Go into the ProAnimator Set-Up window, and go to the Object Controls Panel. Expand the controls for the “Info” section and you will be able to see the position of the object. Adjust the position of the object until it is the position that you need, and it should work for you.

    Best,
    Edward
