I own proanimator and 3d flag and have little problem with them. I have read the documentation on zaxwerks reflector and am still confused. Can someone walk me through or point me to a tutuorial on how to use it. It just isn’t making sense to me. Thanks for your time and guidance.

    Hi Mark.

Can you give me a brief idea of what you’re trying to achieve? A reflected floor? A mirror?

I’ll post a sample project that uses PA and Reflector along with some steps that I used to create it.

    Thanks.

I just saw this and thought I would add a question here too. I just downloaded the demo of Reflector. I have a green screen shot of a person walking across a floor. I have created a white solid as a floor layer added a camera and precomposed the green screen footage so that Reflector is the only effect on that shot.

I am applying Reflector to my character (not the floor) and the legs of my character have a nice faded opacity gradient on them but there is nothing in the floor. I am just not getting what I am supposed to so here either.

    Hi Seth.

You need to apply the Reflector Plug-in to the floor.

The Reflector Plug-in makes the layer it’s applied to a reflective surface.

    Thanks Matt!

Now it makes sense and seems very easy to use and create some great reflections. I appreciate your quick response.

    Hi Seth.

    Great to hear.

We’d love to see screen shots of Reflector (and our other software) in use.

Send us some when you have a chance: matt@zaxwerks.com

    Thanks.

Please post me a sample project that uses PA and Reflector along with some steps that I used to create it. I am having some difficulty in using it in AEffects CS3.

    Thanks,
