  My Layer maps not showing – sides say layer map with diagonal lines.

  Hi guys,

  I think my heads just shut down missing the obvious. I’ve got my layers I want to use as layer maps, they’re in my composition.

  I’ve set the layers as maps in the effects control window, then gone into the invig red ball setup and set the materials I want to use the appropriate layers maps.

  Even when I have layer mdoes set to best it’s just coming up with the layer map text and lines as though the maps are not set.

  Am I missing an obvious step. Been a while since I used invig but i dont recall having this issue before.

  Can you post a picture of what you’re seeing?

  Hi Matt,

  It was just that image you get when using a layer map in draft mode. It’s working fine now – I restarted AE and it started appearing fine. Just wasn’t updating for some reason. Strange, it’d never not updated like that for me before.

  But al’s well that ends in a well. I appreciate the speedy response too.
