    Hi:

I was wondering if there was a way to use pictures with the presets instead of text in ProAnimator.

I was thinking it would be really cool to see little pics flying around the screen just like we currently see letters flying around!

Im sure its possible. Any pointers?

    Thanks.

for example….you have a 15 letter word and choose a preset that is not grouped by “word” so the letters fly around and into position by single letter. instead of 15 letters, there would be 15 little pictures individually scattering, flying, tumbling, rolling, spinning, or in a farris wheel(background preset) motion.

    Hi global,

First, glad Matt mentioned the Open GL renderer difference with wireframe rendering. Open GL is very fast with the right video card, but it does have some limitations.

As for this question, sure. The fastest way might be to go to Illustrator and make a lot of squares in the pattern you like. Don’t group them. When you bring them all into Invigorator, you’ll get what looks like cubes by default.

With them all selected, turn off the visibility of the sides and rear faces. Now you have small planes, to which you can map pictures or movies or whatever. The only caveat is that the aspect ratio of the images should be the same as the aspect ratio for the squares.

    thanks.

    No problem.

Try Circle X and Pitch X.

    That should do it.
