  Help Resetting Default Materials and Swatches in Animator 3.02

  Somehow I killed all my swatches and materials so that they are now gray boxes. Animator is not very intuitive to me yet and I see no reset boxes.

  Is there some way I can easily reset all the materials and swatches to factory default. Do I need to be a folder geek and drag things around?

  Hi Susan,

  The answer depends on what you did to the swatch library. If you changed the hierarchy of the folders or moved the application, that could cause problems. Restoring the correct hierarchy could restore the library.

  Also, if you deleted the swatches from the bins, that will remove them from the disk. (You’ll get a warning before you do this.)

  In either case, the simplest idea would probably be a clean install.
