  Invig Question – help please!

  Hi,

  My project is a world spinning – all done in invig. very easy and done.

  I want text to spin around the globe but slightly faster.

  Now, what I need to do this. Is have the 3d text red axis, in the same spot as the sphere’s red axis. But they need to be different sets. But as soon as I make the text a new set, it re-centres the red axis over the text. Which is great for normal work.

  Basically my question is. How do you move the objects axis, so it can spin on a different axis opposed to it’s own centred one.

  OK.. I thought of something but not quite there. I have made another globe slightly bigger and mapped a jpeg texture of the words in need. It looks better as it curled around the globe a bit. But now the text does not have any depth. How do I fix this?

  You can’t have depth for a map.
