  BR-D92U Can’t Be Repaired–Need Rental or Dupe

  Hello, We received word from JVC Professional Repair that our BR-D92U can’t be repaired. (It needs a replacement power supply that can’t be located.) We need to transfer over 30 D9 tapes to hard drive or another tape format. Does anyone know where to rent a playback deck, BR-D51U, or send tapes for duplication ?

  HI Geof,
  I think that any power supply can be repaired; don’t stop finding a solution, I’m sure you will find many companies able to repair it.

  PAL or NTSC? We have about 6 x D9 decks here soon to become redundant, but they are Aussie delivered PAL versions. Been incredibly reliable in their 10 years by the way – nothing but an occasionally head clean.
