I am so sad. I am new to my JVC and for the first time I went into delete files and that was easy. Then I filmed footage of a band and then some outside shots (in that order). Now, when I took out the Transcend SD card and put it in my apple, it had some old files and it did not have the band files and it DID have the outside shots. Where did the band ones go and why were there still some old files even though I had hit the “delete all” option.

I definitely filmed the band after I had selected the “delete all files” of the card. Also, I have tried both cards to be sure and the band things are not there. Thank you so much, Delaney ps I am shooting in the .mov format

Try a free application called “testdisk”. Just Google it. It can often rebuild corrupted directory structures and partitions. Depends on how many times you’ve recorded over things since this incident.

    Good luck!
