When I try to play back or edit the footage from this camera, it’s only at 25 fps (Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas). Is there any way I can increase the recording frame rate on this camera? My other HD camera cost four times less and it records at 60+ fps.

Let me provide some more details: When I play the footage on the camcorder itself (on the LCD screen) it is clearly at least around 50 fps. When I import the footage to my computer, it plays/edits at 25 fps (although quality is okay). How can I keep the original frame rate? Thanks.
