  y JVC GR-HD1 says “LENS CAP”…

  My JVC GR-HD1 says “LENS CAP” in the monitor when I go to record. This would typically mean that the lens cap is covering the lens. However, it is not. Both the monitor and viewfinder are black (but the menu and other icons appear). I cannot find help anywhere. PLEASE HELP?
