  Cant view Sony tape in JVC deck.

  Hi,

  Have a JVC BR-HD50 deck and tried to view a Sony HDV 30p mini tape on it. Would not play back. the deck plays back my HDV 30p tapes no problem and plays back 1080i HDV too. I think this is a compatibility problem with SONY and JVC? Has any one had this problem? any suggestions?
