ADR. Possible to add reverb on dialouge if small background noise?
Hi all! We have a home studio, accoustically treated, on a quiet location, but it is not completely soundisolated. We are living in thailand, and sounds from birds and sometimes roosters do go through the walls. Also scooters are sometimes audible on far distance. We are now going to record some ADR and my questions are. 1. If The room is accoustically treated so that there is no reverb, will The occasional sounds from roosters/birds on far distance be a problem considering adding reverb to The dialouge tracks later on? Worth mentioning is that The scenes takes place outside, near djungle and beach, so we will have to add backgroundsound from ocean, birds, crickets, etc, later. Question 2: We do not own The house where our studio is so we cannot build anything or damage walls, Doors or windows. Have anyone successfully soundisolated windows and Doors without building/gluing/causing damage? In that case, how? Thank you!
