  Sound devices 302 TA3 out to camera (wireless)

  Hello to everyone!

  I am trying to figure out the best and efficient way to send a stereo mix down from the mix out of a 302 (TA3) to a camera in through wireless.
  Would that be possible with a single wireless system (transmitter and receiver)?
  If not, would that be worthy to modify the TA3 circuit in a way to have a mono summed mixdown (as I would use it as a reference/backup only)

  Hello Alex,

  Unless you have two channels of wireless, you can not transmit in stereo.

  The TA3 mix out is a 2 channel summed (mono) mix from the 302. Wire the feed from the 302 to your wireless transmitter with both pins 2 & 3 of the TA3 connected to your transmitters microphone input connector. Be aware that the mix out is a line level feed and could be to hot for a mic level input. Some transmitters will allow switching the tx mic input to line level by connecting the incoming audio feed to a different pin in the tx connector.
