  Zoom h4n with 2 at803’s for interview

  Just got 2 audio technica at803 lav mics with the power packs. Doing an interview and will be clipping these to the couples collars.

  Using Xlr’s to connect the power packs to the zooms 2 Xlr inputs. How should zoom be configured for audio? Don’t understand the mono vs stereo usage. Tia

  youre using 2 mono mics . the recorder will record it as 1 x stereo wav fle. you will need (if yours has the right software installed) to be abe to adjust record levels for each mic separately. The recording isnt in stereo but dual mono tied in a single file.
  have a good play beforehand so know your workflow is ok and import into your nle too. then unlink the legs so you can edit separately.
