I have just installed a 6 channel system of these in our church auditorium. They replaced the original cheap no-brand system we had before, so we’re used to in-ears.
We have one mono send to each TX for each channel, Leader, Bass, Electric Guitar, Vox 1, 2 & 3 etc.

After I set the TX to mono and adjusted the input level, I couldn’t get any audio to the RX, which I had set up manually to the same channel.
RF was OK, but ‘mute’ was displayed on the RX.

After some fiddling, I turned off the Pilot on the RX and it then worked OK. When I set up the remainder, I set the channel, etc on the TX and then used the Sync feature to match the settings on the RX.
So I think the system is working, but this seems unnecessarily complicated.

Why does the mono option require the Pilot off?
    What is the Pilot anyway?

Appreciate any info. I have tried to read this in the manual, but it seems to assume you know all this.
    Thanks
    Martin.
