  Alternative to XL3 cable

  But could I safely buy this instead and save some cash?

  My guess is there are cheaper ones. The TA3 plug according to markertek is an $8 part. the rest is just a stereo miniplug.

  That said: SD’s is excellent quality and does not pull out as easy as some mini’s do.
