hi everybody. it’s actually my first post here. I’m looking for wireless lav mic set, and unfortunately only sennheiser ew112 g3 fits in my budget. i leave in brooklyn ny, and most of the time i gonna use it around 5 boroughs and in long island. can u guys suggest me which frequencies to buy? i mean a, b or g? i didn’t really understand the table on sennheiser website. looks like i should go on b, but not sure.
also is that a good idea to buy sennheiser? maybe i should look for something else?
    thanxx a lot

There’s a tool on the Sennheiser site that maps out freq use by city. Also, once you have the mic, there’s a function where the g3 listens to its local rf environment and picks out less used freqs. You should run that at each location you record since the NY area is awash in rf. The details of how to do that are in the manual.
