  Dolby E Play Back on HDCAM Sync Issue

  This is the first time I’ve had something like this happen, so I am open to any possible theories.
  1) 2 (Act1 & Act 2) HDCAM tapes with stereo & Dolby E-encoded surround.
  2) Both Stereo & Dolby E audio on both tapes plays back on our system & neighboring video house system fine.
  3) In client screening room, Act 2 tape plays back fine, both Stereo & Dolby E. Act 1 tape plays fine in stereo, but AHEAD a few frames off of the Dolby E.

  Why would it play back differently on the decks, when the other tape plays back fine? Any ideas?
