  Suggest Matching amps for JBL JRX 125

  Hi !! I am a DJ and also have a small live band consisting of 5 to 6 members who do gigs for a crowd of about 200 people. I have just purchased 2 JBL JRX 125 speakers. The specs of these speakers are 500RMS, 1000Program and 2000Peak (each speaker).

  Can someone please suggest a matching power amp for it? Something in Crown, Behringer + any other alternatives.

  I was seriously considering Behringer because of a budget constraint and am considering either the EUROPOWER EP4000 or the EUROPOWER EPX4000. The reviews of the EP4000 seem pretty good barring the weight issue. Can some gurus here please give me pros and cons of each of these and sound advice as to which way to go?

  Also … I have a powered Yamaha EMX 5016CF Mixer. Will this powered mixer drive the JBL JRX 125 sufficiently ?

  I’m sorry I don’t really have an answer for you. Most of us here on the COW are involved in the production side of things. Your question really is about live sound reinforcement.
