Antenna Tip damage
Posted by Michael Sacci on December 11, 2010 at 6:34 amI lent my Senn G2 wireless lav out and when it came back in the tip of the antenna on the transmitter has been ripped off so there is about 1/2″ of bare wire now. Is this going to cause a problem and what would you guys recommend to cover the bare wire.

December 11, 2010 at 7:06 amHave you noticed any problems with the unit’s RF stability? If not, I wouldn’t worry about it.
Go to the hardware store and pick up some Plasti-Dip. Just dip the end of the antenna in that and let it dry.

December 11, 2010 at 8:02 amThanks, I did a quick test and it was fine, I will get that Plasti-Dip, but that will mean a lot of stuff around my house will be coated in plastic :-).
