I was just wondering if anyone is successfully using VPN or remote desktop technology to access, and control audio apps like pro tools. perhaps when away from the studio, perhaps from home, perhaps on an ipad or the like.
If so do share how you found it. Is it a pain to set up and what 3rd party technology are you using?

    Cheers
    Peter

I’ve not, but an associate uses GoToMyPC and he’s able to control his Avid remotely, even from his Windows Mobile phone. But he can’t monitor audio that way.
