Bluetooth for monitoring a camera feed?
Question-
Has anyone used a Bluetooth transmitter and headphone to monitor a live feed at a Camera? My shooters would like to have a confidence headphone without the wireing of conventional headphones.
1/8″ stereo mini-to Bluetooth transmitter-to Bluetooth headphones.
The shooter is always within 10-20 feet of the camera anyway.Ray Palmer, Engineer

Google revealed several thousand hits for: Bluetooth headphone transmitter. They are typically used by people for their MP3 players (etc.) but no reason they couldn’t be used for monitoring your camcorder audio.
There was even a vendor at NAB a couple weeks ago showing a dongle that plugs into a standard Clear-Com (4-pin XLR) intercom headset jack to allow use of a common Bluetooth headset (like used for cell-phones.)

I saw that vendor at NAB too. It worked ok but not as great as I had hoped.
