  good microphones to purchase?

  Hello All:
  I’ve read through the previous posts and not found answers to my question..so here it goes.

  I’m looking at purchasing:
  Audio-Technica AT899 – Sub-Miniature Omni-Directional Lavalier Condenser Microphone

  and a

  Audio-Technica AT875 Short Condenser Shotgun Microphone

  I have a canon xh a1. i produce videos: gardening, talking heads, cooking, spontaneous art projects, man on the street, fitness, spiritual stuff, and beekeeping…

  I’m on a budget. Are these good microphones? will they serve my purposes?

  Good choices. Add a Sound Devices 302 mixer and AT ATH M50 headphones.
