  • Bubbles in foam effect have outline that I don’t want

Posted by Katherine Landgrebe on November 27, 2009 at 4:45 pm

    Hello,
I have a problem with the foam effect: The circle which I use as bubble structure is just a thick white outline. When it’s rendered to the foam layer (a white solid), the bubbles get each a thin black outline, no matter what color solid I put in the background. Does anybody have an idea how to get rid of it?

    Thanks,
    Katherine

Thanks. Yes, I read all this before. I went through each of the parameters and am pretty sure about what they do. Logically it’s pretty clear to me. I also tried different settings without success. Either it’s a rendering issue of the effect or I oversaw something. About “strange outlines” they don’t write anything in the help document. 🙂 Well, maybe there is anybody who had a similar issue?

Hmph. Yes, I see the problem.

Apply the Fill effect after the Foam effect — set to white.

Aaaaah, wonderful! Yes, perfect idea. Thanks a lot. I had to sharpen it a little afterwards, cause it got a litte blurry, but now it’s good. *happy*

    Fill is good.
I use it a lot, applied over other effects, or sometimes over text.
