I am running protools HD3 on a Mac G5. I am sending the video out to a Datavideo DAC100 Card and then going into an LCD TV via component video. But I am only getting a black and white signal.

    Can anyone help?

    Alan.

I am not familiar with your I/O or monitor but I have seen this a dozen times. If you are sending analog component output and your monitor is set for composite, you will get B&W. The green channel is the luminence channel and it only has black and white information.
Check to make sure that your monitor is also set to component, not composite.

Yep, component is separates, composite is all signals composited into 1 video signal which is where the problem will lie.
Look for a non rgb input
