  Best carrying case?

  I need some advice. I do a fair amount of international travel. Am currently taking a 1660 Pelican case for such things as camera tripod, boom pole, shotgun mic and misc. other stuff. (It only fits if I put tripod and boom in diagonal — corner to corner.)

  But am trying to lighten my load a bit — and find something a bit more manageble for lugging around.

  So what carrying cases are you using out there? What do you recommend?

  Also hopefully one with rollers.

  And do you prefer a hard or soft case?
