  Most efficient way to burn 11 x 90min clips onto 80min CDs

  Hi guys

  I have been asked by a friend to put 11 audio cassette tapes onto CD.

  So using Sound Forge 7, i have recorded the clips, used the vinyl restore to take out alot of the hiss/noise. I can only get hold of blank CDs that hold 80 mins of audio.

  So what would be the best way to put these 11 clips onto CD?

  If you’re going for audio cds that play in any standard player then your only choice is to cut them up into 80 (or maybe 78) minute segments. It’s a standard, you can’t push and shove on it UNLESS you’re going for the class of players that will let you play MP3s on a CDR. Then you’ve got lots of room on the disc.

  Your other choice would be to go the the DVD format if the client has a DVD player.
