An error occurred while loading the project file – The Item was not found
Hello, I need your help. When I try to open a project I finished it says “An error occured while loading the project file. The item was not found”. It does it too on the .bak file and there is nothing in the appdata folder. I have tried everything, but I know the project is not gone as I see the size when I click on properties. I started to render yesterday, cancelled it when it was starting, saved it normally and now it won’t let me see it. I don’t understand why! Anyone got any idea of what to do? Thank you,

if you are on Windows 10 then maybe the Controlled Folder access switch is ON within Windows Security. If that is the case you can either move the switch to Off or add the Folder you are trying to get access to. During my last Windows 10 updates it turned back on .
