Screen selection selects wrong part of the image(color match)
I’m trying to color match one clip to another and I’m using the screen select option, I select the part of the image I want to take color data from but the result of selection in the preview (in the plugin/FX window) shows not what I’ve selected. It used to work fine before but now it just doesn’t. I’m working on the same project where it worked before but now it doesn’t also happens on a fresh project, I tried to reset settings (preferences) back to default but that didn’t change anything, happens when plugin is on both clip and track, even when selecting the whole image (literally everything on the screen) the grabbed frame is still offset/cut off. I’m running single monitor and there were no changes to hardware/software in the meantime, I’m working with the same format of files, basically I did nothing and yet it broke.
Is there a fix for it? I literally can’t edit my video because of it and I’m just stuck looking for answers but I cannot find anything online. Here is an example of what I mean (using different footage obviously): https://imgur.com/a/FN7hiqa

I’d like to add that the same goes for color picker, no matter if I pick the area of similar color or just click to select a singular point, it picks the wrong color from different part of screen, seems like there is some offset and I have no idea what’s causing it :/ Can anyone help me?
I should have switch to Davinci Resolve/Premiere long time ago… that’s what I get for using bad software but I still need to finish this projects in Vegas… Too far into it to scrap it and redo in different software.
