    Hi,

    I encountered this problem yesterday afternoon and have not been able to fix it.
    In the preview box, the video plays smoothly throughout the video; however, when I render it, the video freezes at certain points in the video.

    I have tried two different rendering formats (MAGIX HEVC/AAC MP4 and MAGIX AVC/AAC MP4) and the same problem occured.

    Here is a small snippet of the video (Yes, it is Fortnite): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1FrufUsOwiRJyp4U8ZPajqMFf5sNP-Ngh

    Thanks,
    Rohan

    The video render freezes at random points in the video; however in the preview this does not happen.

    Sounds like your setup can’t cope with the render.

    I have a Ryzen 2700x and a 1050Ti, upgrading to 2060 S soon.

    Thank you for your help – I will just await the arrival of the new GPU.

    Maybe the problem is caused by your source video. It’s easy to test it;
    Just try rendering your project in a lower resolution like 480p , using 2 different codecs, then test the playback of your output files, see if they still stutter…

    If they do then it’s your system –> Upgrade.
    If they don’t then your source video file is corrupt or it’s codec has issues with Vegas. –> Transcode into a new video file and use them instead of the original files.

    I agree that it is one or even BOTH of the issues you are inviting our Friend here to explore, “Media/Settings” and then “System”. In any event we require far more information to analyse which can only come from the OP.

    Let’s see ????
