  • Editing multiple event lengths to play entire clip after reducing velocity (Vegas Pro 17)

I’ve got a lot of clips of different lengths recorded at 50fps in MP4, and I wanted to know if there was a way after lowering the velocity to play them back at half speed so I can set the events to expand to full length without needing to adjust the length of each manually as with as many clips as I have that could take hours.

I know I could group and control drag the clips, but I want the playback to be exactly 50% to match the frame rate and there doesn’t appear to be a very precise way of achieving that using that method.

I’ve looked at answers I found on Google and didn’t see any solution, but the answers were for much older versions of Vegas so I’m hoping they’ve added such a feature in more recent editions.

    Thanks

Scripts can do it. Google for vegas pro scripts and maybe you will find one that do what you need. Also look on the official Vegas forum.
