Timelapse from photos on Vegas 16
Posted by Diego Garcia on August 22, 2019 at 4:39 amI shot a time lapse sequence on my camera and now I need to convert these photos to a timelapse video. What’s the easiest way , if, for example, I shot 200 phoyos at a 1 second interval?

August 22, 2019 at 4:04 pmHi Diego
Need a little more info here. When you say you shot a time lapse with your camera, was it a video camera set to capture at regular preset intervals or did you use a ”regular” photo camera that took a separate picture at regular interval ?
I’m guessing that you want an accelerated final result.
What type of file(s) did you end up with ?
Cheers !

August 22, 2019 at 8:49 pmIf these are from a still camera, go into Options > Prefs > Editing.
On this page, set New Still Image Length to 1 second.
Make sure Automatically Overlap Multiple Selected Media is not selected (unless you want to do a very quick fade from one image to the next which I doubt).
Make sure all images are sequentially numbered.
Import them, drop them on your timeline and play the sequence back.
Adjust the Still Image Length if you want them to be on screen more or less.
