  Sony Vegas Pro 16 Insane Preview Lag

  So I’ve been trying to use sony vegas pro 16 for a week or so and I can not edit whatsoever. Everytime I use a single transition or velocity it lags during preview and even when I dont use any transitions at all. I’ve looked up all the youtube tutorials and none of them helped. Ive already tried lowering the quality and what not and im only get 1-10 fps when watching the video. I dont get it at all when I had Vegas 13 it was pretty fine I lagged a little but I could still see the preview just fine. Now it just seems impossible to edit.

  There is no SONY VEGAS 16. In 2016 MAGIX purchased VP from SONY.
