  Assistance in rendering on Sony Vegas Pro 13

  Hi, I’m in way over my head. I edited an important video project in an old copy of Sony Vegas Pro 13 that I have access to. The video is finished and I have been told to render it in a variety of different formats. Is it possible for anyone to advise me on these renderings? The project is really important to me and the deadline is pretty urgent. Thanks in advance.
  I shot the video in 1080p and a 4k version is required. I understand upscaling is a thing but how do I do that in Sony Vegas Pro 13? I’m also unaware if any of these settings just aren’t possible in Sony Vegas Pro 13. I really need assistance.
  The 4k requirements:
  H.264, High Quality 2160p4k
  3840×2160 (1.0), 23.976fps
  Progressive
  VBR,1 pass, target 80.00 Mbps, Max 96.00 Mbps
  AAC, 320 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo
  Use Maximum Render Quality
  The HD requirements:
  H.264, High Quality 1080p HD
  1920×1080 (1.0), 23.976fps
  Progressive
  VBR, 1 pass, target 20.00 Mbps, Max 24.Mbps
  AAC, 320 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo
  Use Maximum Render Quality

  Hi adil,

  I think the best and fastest solution to your issue is to post this in the Vegas Creative Software forum, in the Vegas section and title the thread as something like ‘Can Happy Otter Scripts Help on these Render Requirements?’. Then post what you have posted here.

  Happy Otter Scripts is a app created by Wayne Waag (who is also a member here and may respond to this thread). Happy Otter Scripts has better render codec than you have in Vegas Pro 13 and will do a better job at upscaling.

  Happy Otter Scripts is still in Beta Testing and at the moment a free app, but I’m very confident it will be your best approach.

  If you would rather not do this, we can provide you with the render template settings for the two render specs they are asking for, just let us know.

  Just scroll down a few threads here in COW and you will find a thread on Happy Otter Scripts by the creator Wayne Waag, you may also want to post in that thread and point to this post, Wayne is probably monitoring.
