  • Strange Effect Issue on SVP 16.

    Hello friends,

This is an issue I had in the past with SVP 12, and I’ve tried multiple ways to fix it to no avail.

Now it’s happening on SVP 16.

Basically my effects aren’t showing up in real time on my project. For example, but keep in mind this is happening with all my effects, lets say I’m adjusting the colors on a video; I’ll click the “Color Corrector” and change the colors to make it blue. On my preview screen, nothing changes but once I close that effect screen to what I was just doing, it automatically shows the effect.

I’ve tripled checked all my settings, including my split screen view and preview quality, all is at it’s correct setting. I see the effect no problem, but not in real time when I’m trying to use it, which makes it difficult considering I need to open and close my screen each time to do adjustments.

Strangely enough, if I do some masking or cropping, I see it on my main screen in real time.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you!

Okay, what would you like me to screenshot for you?

Alright, so I tried doing the following:

  • Open the nvidia control panel (rt-click on desktop) and under Manage 3D Settings | Program Settings find Movie Studio in the list or add it if it’s not there. Choose “Integrated Graphics” in the preferred graphics processor dropdown. Save.

  • Open MS and choose the Nvidia GPU in the Video tab in preferences.

And it worked after I restarted SVP!

Thanks Jorma, I wouldn’t have been able to find the solution without those links. I looked everywhere for it too!
