Vegas 15 Default Plugins Not Working

Hello,

I have the default Vegas 15 plugins and I just tried adding the “Distortion” effect to an audio clip.
Then this box popped up :
The Plug-in ‘Distortion’ failed to load. Please make sure the plug-in is properly installed.

Go to Preferences and rescan VSTs. Try that and report back.

Where in Preferences > VST effects can you rescan VSTs ?

See the Rescan button? Rescan. It’s what I do.

Well, there isn’t a re-scan button, but there is a refresh button. When I press it nothing really changes. No pop up box and the effects still don’t work.

Well Martin, I’ve just checked it on my rig and it is working:

This suggests that you have a local issue. Are you using the latest Build 361 of VP? You try a reinstall of VP or the Factory Reset – this would mean you’d loose all your settings – up to you. In my experience something has lost its way to your VP GUI and is wandering hither and thither….
