Alarming black screen with random glitches
I’m not sure exactly how to describe this problem. When I import video into vegas pro, the preview shows a large amount of black that is interrupted by pixelation where lines are. The glitching calms down after a few seconds if I let it play and the video plays normally, but when I switch to another point in the footage, it pops back up. Rendering the video gets rid of about 90% of the issue, but there are a few instances where it will show up for about half a second. I have a link below with an example for where that is, so you can see exactly what I mean. I recently switched from a desktop computer to a laptop and never experienced this problem before. Hoping it’s a simple fix, or a problem with the install, as this is the only editing software I have.

I suspect it has something to do with the file format/frame rate.
Could you post a MediaInfo on your recorded file(s) ? It’s a free App. just Google it.
