  Looking for ways to streamline editing of a highlights video in Vegas Pro 14

  I have about one hour of video on the timeline and want to create a highlights video of about 10-20 minutes quickly and easily. I would like to put the cursor on fastest preview and use a keyboard shortcut to remove unwanted events behind the cursor as it moves. Or drag the cursor and remove the events behind the cursor as it moves. I would use auto-ripple to put the clips together. I cannot find a keyboard shortcut or any command to do this. Any suggestions?
