Are you able to open MVP 15 projects in MPV 14 this time around? I heard that may be an option now…
    Just curious!

I am currently using Vegas Pro 14 and am considering getting a Canon C200 cinema camera so I can shoot in Canon RAW Lite and use Canon software to adjust and convert the RAW Lite video files to ProRes files. Can VP 14 and/or VP 15 actually edit ProRes video files? Or can VP 14 or VP 15 edit dpx open exr ? This post by Canon explains the work flow and mentioned all the other editing software except for Vegas Pro. https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/explore/cinema-eos-c200-cameras/workflow

ProRes yes. VP15 (also VP14) now have capability to read ProRes media correctly, and also exporting to MOV ProRes format.

But not sure to OpenEXR and DPX (I personally have no experience with these),

Yes, Vegas Pro can also import and edit DPX and EXR images (or image sequences). Selecting a Vegas Pro floatpoint project you would even maintain EXR’s floatpoint properties (16 or 32 bit).

Marco, have you tried to import a .dpx image sequence into Vegas Pro 14 or 15? I recorded my first Canon RAW Lite files from my Canon C200 last night and tried to import the .dpx sequence rendered out from the Canon RAW software. Both Vegas Pro 14 and 15 would not recognize the files…? I rendered out two versions and neither would work.
