Do VASST extensions work in Magix Movie Studio Platinum 14?
I’ve been searching multiple search engines for over an hour now trying to find out if the VASST extensions will work in Magix Movie Studio Platinum 14. They obviously worked in my older Sony version of MSP 13, but for the life of me, I can’t find anything concrete on v14 functionality.
I see there are menus for Edit/Extensions, View/Extensions, and Tools/Extensions. I’ve tried looking at all of the folders I can think of (Win 10) to place the dll files, etc. But I can’t find a folder that would seem to house the extensions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
As a side note, I upgraded to the Magix MSP 14 Suite from Sony MSP 13 and the Sonicfire Pro extension/plugin that comes with MSP 14 Suite doesn’t show up in any of the Extension menus either, even though the stand-alone version is installed and the Movie Studio plugin option was activated with a code in its menu system.

“The VASST FasstApps do not support Movie Studio 14 at this time. We are waiting for MAGIX to work with us to make these updates as we cannot do them on our own. I currently have no timeframe for the update because of this (sorry).”

Hello Jesse,
We have not received any updated libraries from VASST at this point to update the licensing for the FASST apps. Unfortunately they will not work in VEGAS Movie Studio 14.0 until an update has been provided.

I tried to contact you last week via your email but I haven’t received a reply. Perhaps it got stuck in a spam folder?
How can I contact you to make this happen? I’ve had these updates for months now waiting for someone at MAGIX to send them to. 🙁
