  How to get FCP 7 clips to render faster

  Hi there,

  I’ve been trying to use a version of Final Cut Pro 7 Express to edit short movies. However, whenever I upload my clips into the program and try to bring it into the timeline to edit it, a red line appears over the clip and says I’ll have to render it. It takes 2 to sometimes 30 mins depending on the length/size of the clip to render.

  I heard MPEG Stream Clip might help. Do any of you have any suggestions or video tutorials you might be able to pass along to help me with this issue?
