  How would i make this overlay

  Hi, im fairly new to Sony Vegas.
  Id like to make an overlay like the one in this video https://www.facebook.com/theguardian/videos/639774542876979/
  The bit where the blue circle comes down and the text with it.
  I cant seem to get it right.
  Any ideas?

  Hi,

  I’d try the “Iris” transition.
  Create the text with the background on a track above your video. Then use iris transition from transparent to the “text” and back. Look for the preset from top-right, and remove the border, that will look quite similar ☺
