  Customize Keyboard isn’t working

  I wanted to change the Keyboard shortcuts, for instance to render. So I set it to a Keyboard shortcut (which wasn’t used for any other action), however when I press the key nothing happens. So I tried to set up a shortcut for the Customize Keyboad Window itself, and yes, nothing happens. Same goes for preferences. Only some shortcuts work correctly. Any ideas?
