  Media Offline And Black Preview?

  I can play the 4k 200mbps 24fps files just fine in vlc, but when i import them to sony vegas it says the media is offline eventhough i haven’t moved it or deleted the files. When i click on the crop icon i can see the video as if it was a preview, but i can’t work with it that way since i cannot see any adjustments.

  I am using sony vegas 13, and i have a more than capable computer for handling high bitrate 4k files.

  What’s the exact file format of those 4k files? That’s the most important info you left out…

  ok, try turning off GPU completely.
  And are these files on an external drive? if so, place them on your system drive.
