  Question about a re-installation of Sony Vegas 13?

  I have both Sony Vegas 12 and Sony Vegas 13. An issue I ran into and posted here about happening with 13 never was resolved, and I was told to try to re-install 13, because the issue was not present on Vegas 12.

  My main question is how should I go about uninstalling/reinstalling vegas such that I will not lose any presets made or plugins installed? Or will doing an uninstall not result in the loss of presets/etc? Thanks.

  Performing an uninstall will not remove your presets. You can safely uninstall and then reinstall and everything will be preserved.
