Sapphire shake render issue
Posted by Jimmy Carter on July 10, 2016 at 5:26 amI am using Sony Vegas Pro 13 with sapphire plugin. When I use s_shake on a clip in the preview it works just fine but when I render out the video, halfway through the clip it freezes but still shakes. Anyway I can fix this

January 25, 2017 at 4:48 amHi John. You certainly have enough muscle in your rig. Have you tried disabling GPU acceleration? What Preview quality are you running? Does your Project Settings exactly match your Event Media? Have you got any other VFX applied?
Bottom line, I can use Saphire Edge Shake with no issue. Let’s see if we can nail this irksome critter.

January 25, 2017 at 9:35 amI’ve disabled GPU acceleration but it still freezes.. My preview quality is set to Best and my project settings match with event media. I render in MainConcept AVC/AAC. No other VFX’s are applied. I think it could just be because my footage is in 60 frames per second at 1080p.

August 28, 2017 at 9:31 pmHi, you might have already found a solution but just in case anybody else is struggling like I was… this is caused by your project settings not matching your rendering settings. I found that I was rendering my video in 1080p 60 fps but project settings were 1080p 25fps. I changed this and set 60fps to default, restarted the program and problem solved. Hope this helps

September 18, 2017 at 1:20 pmI was having the same issue a while back. I found that disabling GPU acceleration worked and making sure your render settings matched your project! If that doesn’t help, then it would most likely be a problem with your processor being too low to support SVP.
